Welcome to my first blog from this 2020, in this oportunity I will tell you about the country that I would like to visit.

Italy, more specifically the city of Venice.

It's a city located in northern Italy and it covers more than 100 islands in a small lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. It is known as the “floating city” due to the channels that this city has, for that reason (and for many others) since small, together with my best friend, we wanted to visit this city.

Venice Carnival

It is an annual festival held in Venice. Carnival ends with the Christian celebration of Lent, forty days before Easter. For this carnival, Venice is also known as "The city of masks".

Gothic architecture

Venetian Gothic is an architectural style that combines the use of the Gothic lancet arch with Byzantine and Moorish influences. The style originated in 14th century Venice. Some examples of the style are the Ducal Palace and the Ca ‘d’Oro in Venice.

St. Mark's Square

Saint Mark's Square is the only square in Venice, and its main tourist destination.

Paseos en góndola en Venecia

The canals, the carnival, the architecture and the square are the reasons why Venice is my favorite place in the world, however, of the aforementioned, what I would most like to do in Venice is take a ride on the famous gondolas (It is a traditional long and narrow boat from Venice) on the canals. I really hope someday to be able to visit this beautiful city.

    According to what you tell me, that place is really amazing, someday I want to go to take a ride on the fomous gondolas on the canals too. That is so romantic!!.

    Venice is a wonderful city. It's a really work of art. The canals, the arquitecture, all is part of, his glory. Of everything you mentioned is the carnaval that caught my attention.

    Venice is a beautiful city, I Would love to go there during the carnival beacuse it seems like an interesting tradition. Hope one day we can go there!.

    Venice is a beautiful city! I would love to visit her with my Mom since she dreams of knowing Venice and being able to travel in the gondolas, she would be happy !!!

Hey, everybody, today I'm gonna tell you about what I plan to do after I get my degree. Well, I'm a dental student, currently in my second year. When I get out, I hope to work to raise money, travel the world and meet all the goals I have. After that I would like to do a specialty, there are 2 that call my attention:  Orthodontics that takes care of all the study, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the anomalies of form, position, relation and function of the dentomaxillary structures, I would like this specialty because I like the idea of being able to change the appearance of a person  and pediatric dentistry that treats the preventive and therapeutic oral care of children and adolescents, I would like this one because I love children.   If you ask me now, I couldn't choose one of those two, so I hope that during the remaining years of my career I will be able to choose between one of the two, and if that doesn't happen I hope to

My favorite Piece of Technology

In this blog I'm going to tell you about my favorite piece of technology.  I choose an application called "WhatsApp", this is a messaging application, it also allows to make video calls, send photos, voice notes and make call (like a phone). The app works only with internet (it is the only bad things). I use the app to communicate with other people, before I did not use it much, but I started using it more often (everyday) when I came to study in Santiago. I really like it because it allows me to talk with my family and my friends instantly, since they are far away. If this app did not exist, I would probably talk to other people only by SMS or maybe not.   You can download this app for free from App Store for Apple or Play Store for Android.

Global Warming

Hello, today I'm going to write about global warming. What is this? The global warming is the increase of the temperature both of the atmosphere and of the oceans belonging to the planet Earth. Global warming is caused by different causes: the constant emission of carbon dioxide (being this the most important), deforestation, the burning of fossil fuels, the use of fertilizers in the field, etc. The causes mentioned above lead to warmer temperatures, more intense storms, melting of the glaciers, change of ecosystems, disappearance of animal species, rising sea levels, most dangerous hurricanes, spread of diseases, stronger heat waves, more expensive foods, just for mention some of causes. My opinion about this is that we need to create awareness, change our habits to curb their effect, because after all there is only one planet Earth and if we keep destroying it there will not be a near future for us or for the next generations.
