Hello, today I come to recommend an account on instagram about dentistry (@odonto.studygram).


This account was created by a sixth year student of Dentistry at San Sebastian University, at the end of November of the year 2018, her name is Aranza. She created the account in order to help dentistry students in their academic growth. The type of content is rather clinical (which is the most difficult for students to learn), but also increases content from first to third year. I visit this account every day, because it's content appears at the beginning of the Instagram application (I also have your notifications of your active potst). I really like this account because it delivers content related to my career, without expecting anything in return. I also like it because it's content is very good and interesting (and beautiful). It also has different sections where it interacts with it's followers, for example there is a part where there is a test where you have the possibility to answer them (all related to dentistry). If you have instagram and you are a dental student, I really recommend you to follow this account.

    I didn’t know this account on Instagram. But now, after reading your blog, I’m going to follow it. Also, it’s nice that people do this kind of thing just to help others.

In this blog I'm going to tell you about my favorite piece of technology.  I choose an application called "WhatsApp", this is a messaging application, it also allows to make video calls, send photos, voice notes and make call (like a phone). The app works only with internet (it is the only bad things). I use the app to communicate with other people, before I did not use it much, but I started using it more often (everyday) when I came to study in Santiago. I really like it because it allows me to talk with my family and my friends instantly, since they are far away. If this app did not exist, I would probably talk to other people only by SMS or maybe not.   You can download this app for free from App Store for Apple or Play Store for Android.

Postgraduates Studies

Hey, everybody, today I'm gonna tell you about what I plan to do after I get my degree. Well, I'm a dental student, currently in my second year. When I get out, I hope to work to raise money, travel the world and meet all the goals I have. After that I would like to do a specialty, there are 2 that call my attention:  Orthodontics that takes care of all the study, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the anomalies of form, position, relation and function of the dentomaxillary structures, I would like this specialty because I like the idea of being able to change the appearance of a person  and pediatric dentistry that treats the preventive and therapeutic oral care of children and adolescents, I would like this one because I love children.   If you ask me now, I couldn't choose one of those two, so I hope that during the remaining years of my career I will be able to choose between one of the two, and if that doesn't happen I hope to ...

Global Warming

Hello, today I'm going to write about global warming. What is this? The global warming is the increase of the temperature both of the atmosphere and of the oceans belonging to the planet Earth. Global warming is caused by different causes: the constant emission of carbon dioxide (being this the most important), deforestation, the burning of fossil fuels, the use of fertilizers in the field, etc. The causes mentioned above lead to warmer temperatures, more intense storms, melting of the glaciers, change of ecosystems, disappearance of animal species, rising sea levels, most dangerous hurricanes, spread of diseases, stronger heat waves, more expensive foods, just for mention some of causes. My opinion about this is that we need to create awareness, change our habits to curb their effect, because after all there is only one planet Earth and if we keep destroying it there will not be a near future for us or for the next generations.                ...
